Emerging Norwegian artist Hanne Mjøen has been on the radar since the release of debut single ‘Perfect Noise’ in 2016. Since then, a number of singles have followed, she supported her good friend Astrid S on her sold out tour last year and American magazine The Fader named her one of the Scandinavian artists to watch in 2018. Now, fresh from joining our club night at The Lexington in London, Hanne Mjøen releases new single ‘Sounds Good To Me’.

Speaking about the song, she says: “The lyrics of ‘Sounds Good To Me’ is one of the most personal texts I’ve written. I’m a very sensitive person, and I’ve always wanted to write about it. The song is about all the feelings you go through when you enter into a relationship. How you know that you will cry, get crushed, jealous and lonely, but it’s still worth it.”

However, in spite of the dark backdrop, ‘Sounds Good To Me’ is one of her most upbeat and danceable tunes, combining a modern and retro sound, so check out the video for the new single which is out now via Spinnin’ Records below…
