Vök released ‘Breaking Bones‘ as a single last year, and it’d be fair to day that we were quite taken with it back then. Since then, the Icelandic band have given us Figure, the album from which the track was taken, and changed from a quartet back into a trio, with guitarist Oli deciding to pursue other projects.
Never ones to slow down, the band have been busy working with director Hörður Freyr Brynjarsson to create a new video to accompany ‘Breaking Bones’ – and you can finally see the result here. Set in some sort of dystopian future, it involves a violent hybrid of ice hockey/lacrosse/robot wars whilst a two-faced drummer of death commands the arena beside them. You certainly can’t fault their creativity…!
