Our final Ja Ja Ja Berlin event of 2017 is almost here, and we’ve got a brand BRAND new artist from Finland coming along to perform for you!
Mio has only appeared a a featured artist on a track so far, teaming up with fellow Finn Pykäri on the sublime number ‘Run‘. That track landed all the way back at the beginning of the year though, so ahead of her live performance at next week’s Ja Ja Ja Berlin show, get another glimpse of Mio via her debut track ‘Find It’.
Accompanied by an exceptional lyric video, the track is an irresistibly lovable electronic number, full of warm, pulsating synths and dance-inducing beats. From the little info that’s flying around the interweb about Mio at the moment, we know that M83 and Porter Robinson are listed among the artist’s influences, with sneak peaks of this shining through in the engrossing electronica that provides the track’s undercurrent. The track’s release comes accompanied by a lyric video, which, with great excitement, we’re premiering here at Ja Ja Ja today! Described as a “hyper-active dream trip”, ‘Find It’s blush-tinged visuals perfectly mirror the track’s sentiments – and give us a bit more of a feel of the style and vision driving Finland’s latest emerging artist.
Mio will be joined at Ja Ja Ja by Danish R’n’B starlet ANYA, and Swedish duo Wy – so come down FluxBau on the 9th November for Berlin’s premier new Nordic music night – tickets are on sale now!
