Fresh from releasing their latest single ‘You’ll Be Fine‘, a “euphoric rush”, Pom Poko return to the UK to play in Brighton and London this week. The Norwegian four-piece gained national attention when they made it all the way to the final in the prestigious Urørt competition, hosted by Norwegian radio channel NRK P3 and have since received much praise for their interesting take on the indie rock genre as well as their unique energy on stage. Copenhagen duo and Ja Ja Ja alumni First Hate won us over when they played our Berlin and Hamburg Club Nights all the way back in 2015 and their debut album A Prayer For The Unemployed made us fall all the more in love when it was released earlier this year. We’re therefore extremely excited that Anton and Joakim are bringing their melodic 80s synth pop across the pond to play at The Shacklewell Arms in London this week!
