With a sentiment behind the lyrics that’s not a million miles away from Dua Lipa’s recent number one single ‘New Rules’, Andersen lays down the law to any potential suitors, describing the song as “about a relationship that isn’t working, where the boy isn’t treating the girl right… an anthem about all the players out there”.
