Summer can officially begin! Sweden’s aptly monikered Summer Heart has dropped ‘101’, another infectious slice of synth pop.
Summer Heart – aka David Alexander – has been quiet for the last year but is set to release his next full-length album, 101, in August this year. We can’t help thinking it’s summer all year long for him. We’ve come to rely on him for our holiday anthems and ‘101’ is no exception. It’s the perfect balance of hazy pop and shimmery Balearic beats, perfect to soundtrack long, lazy days by a pool or balmy nights at a barbecue. ‘101’ is more of a move away from the indie dream pop of his last releases but full of the same good vibes.
