London-based singer Mabel invites us all to her sleepover in this dreamy new video for her latest track ‘Bedroom’.
The 21 year old whose roots lie in Stockholm has developed a signature style combining Scandi synths, combined with an edgier R’n’B sound that definitely owes something to her current home. Mabel is undeniably cool, from her offbeat sartorial choices to her honest lyrics and oh-so-sultry live performances.
This video stars an all-female cast who perform their slick choreography on a giant, suspended bed. Although she is singing about a potentially fiery relationship where she smashes her lover’s TV with one of his guitars, the mood in her room seems pretty chilled.
