The UK live schedule is getting less busy as Christmas is fast approaching, but it’s the quality and not the quantity that counts, right? There are some pretty amazing Nordic acts to experience live this week, and we have all the information you need in the lates Nordic Gig Guide:
After rocking the stage in Manchester and Glasgow last week, the time has come for London to experience Kvelertak‘s Norwegian heavy metal live. Get your tickets now and join the mosh pit!
Brilliant Norwegian duo Smerz‘ headline performace at our London Club Night earlier this year was undeniably one of our year’s finest – they’re back in the UK this week supporting the equally excellent Shura, so make sure to get down early for an evening of flawless pop music!
Swedish post-punk rockers FEWS continue supporting Pixies on the UK leg of their European tour this week, including a third London show at O2 Academy Brixton. If you didn’t get the chance to catch FEWS this time around, then fear not, the loud four piece will returning to the UK early next year!
Icelandic multi-instrumentalist and composer Jóhann Jóhannsson will be performing music from his latest album Orphée, as well as material from across his career, at the Barbican Centre this Friday evening. Not surprisingly, the event is already sold out, and we are convinced ticket-holders are up for a captivating performance from the composer of the The Theory of Everything soundtrack!
