Norway’s favourite troubadour Moddi released his fifth full-length album Unsongs last month, consisting of 12 songs that have, at some point, been banned in their home countries. The folk-pop singer is currently on tour with his new album and will be paying London and St Giles-in-the-Fields Church a visit on Monday.

A lot has happened since Bergen’s AURORA performed at the Ja Ja Ja London Club Night two years ago. The quirky but completely charming singer and songwriter from Norway has since been on multiple headline tours both in Norway and internationally, and she successfully released her debut album All My Demons Greeting Me As A Friend earlier this year. Now the time has finally come again for the UK to experience the magic AURORA creates on stage, kicking off at The Art School in Glasgow on Monday.

Sweden based FEWS have had a pretty exciting year so far, including the release of their much acclaimed debut album MEANS and playing along the likes of Spring King and Bloc Party. The mysterious four piece will bring their post-punk alternative indie rock sound to venues around the UK on a headline tour this month before supporting Pixies on their European tour later this year.
Thursday 6th – Fufanu, Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, London – Tickets
Reykjavík outfit Fufanu are hitting the stage at Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen this week. The alternative rock band have previously described their performances as “loud, sexy and intense”, which we saw when they played their first London gig at the Ja Ja Ja Festival in 2014. This is one not to be missed!
Friday 7th – Whale Watching Tour, Barbican Centre, London – Tickets
Icelandic record label Bedroom Community is celebrating 10 years of producing inventive new music in bedrooms, basements and warehouses by bringing together founders Valgeir Sigurðsson and Nico Muhly with other members from the community for a night to remember at the Barbican Centre.
