The Barbican Centre’s Nordic music series is set to kick off in October, and we’ve got a special competition lined up so that YOU can get involved!

Having set up a truly outstanding, summer-long exhibition focussed on Icelandic performance artist Ragnar Kjartansson, the Barbican Centre in London is now set to embark on a programme featuring three completely unmissable Nordic events! In the coming months, the Barbican will play host to acclaimed Icelandic label Bedroom Community’s 10th anniversary event, as well as a special concert from Icelandic composer Jóhann Jóhannsson and an opera from Denmark’s Efterklang!

7th October 2016 – Bedroom Community’s Whale Watching Tour, with Valgeir Sigurðsson, Nico Muhly, Sam Amidon and more…

9th December 2016 – Jóhann Jóhannsson with Britten Sinfonia

9th March 2017 – Efterklang, Leaves The Colour of Falling
