Norwegian electro-disco King Todd Terje returns with a new EP – created alongside his beloved dance troupe, The Olsens!
For those that have been lucky enough to capture Todd Terje’s live show over the past few years, The Olsens will be familiar faces – a colourful bunch that dance alongside Terje’s unfailingly floor-filling anthems.
Taking their collaboration a step further, Todd Terje and The Olsens have now announced that they’ll release an EP entitled The Big Cover Up together on the 17th June, their first recorded release and an EP that promises to be packed full of disco classics!
But in true Terje style, this EP is offering disco with a twist. Boney M and Vangelis are among the artists whose tracks are covered for this special EP, which sees Todd Terje and the Olsens offering up studio crafted re-makes of their favourite tunes, as well as some completely unmissable remixes.
And if this wasn’t exciting enough news in itself, Todd Terje and The Olsens will be joined by Lindstrøm and Jaga Jazzist at a special show at 1260 Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn on July 29th! Can you think of any better way to get the summer started?
