isac elliot

This week’s update of the Trenda: New Nordic Pop-playlist is full of fresh Nordic pop tracks. Among new tracks from Norway’s Highasakite and Denmark’s Blondage, we find another of the biggest releases of the week – ‘Worth Something’ from Finland’s Isac Elliot!

Finland’s own Isac Elliot released ‘Worth Something’ last Friday, the follow-up to his latest single ‘No One Else’. ‘Worth Something’ sees Isac return with chilled tropical pop underpinned by some balearic guitar strumming, bringing a promise of summer!

The track is the first in Isac Elliot’s repertoire which features himself on songwriter duties, joining Americans Anne Preven and Matt Parad. Finnish-born Nico Stadi has also contributed to the creation of the song, in addition to producing the track. If Isac’s music makes you draw parallels to Justin Bieber that’s too far-fetched – Justin can actually be found among the artists trusting the work of Nico Stadi!

Just one week prior to the release of the track, a video for ‘Worth Something’ was shot in Matinkylä, in the suburbs of Helsinki. The video can be found just down below! According to Isac himself, the sunny weather on the shooting day fit the song perfectly, so we’ll take it as a hint for what to turn up the volume to this summer!
