Summer, sun (hopefully) and fantastic live music (definitely), Roskilde Festival is a highlight of the Nordic summer calendar, and with new additions to their line-up announced today, their 2016 edition is proving to be no exception…

The Nordic Playlist was at Roskilde last year capturing interviews with the festival’s top and finest Nordic artists. While we were there, we filmed declarations of love from Honningbarna, storming sets from The Entrepreneurs and exclusive interviews with the likes of Veronica Maggio and Susanne Sundfør.

Now, as we count down the days until the summer starts rolling and we pack up the Nordic Playlist caravan to make our way to Roskilde, the festival has announced more additions to its 2016 line up!

, Blaue Blume and Choir of Young Believers will all be returning to Roskilde Festival’s stages this year, and the Rising Stage will see the likes of Danish trio Chinah, Norway’s Gundelach, Sweden’s Sudakistan and Finnish outfit Have You Ever Seen the Jane Fonda Aerobic VHS? kicking off the festivities. And to top off today’s announcement, 20-strong Icelandic outfit Reykjavíkurdætur will also be heading to Denmark!
