Kent rose

Kent’s ‘Egoist’, the beginning of the band’s end, enters the Trenda: Nordic Chart in Sweden, while Norwegian/Swedish duo Tungevaag & Raaban climb the charts of Norway and Finland.

Each week we gather the top selling and streaming Nordic hits together in the Trenda: Nordic Charts, and mix all of the tracks into one mega mix on Spotify, that easily lets you discover the hottest music topping the charts in the Nordic countries. Tune in to the Trenda: Nordic Charts Megamix on Spotify Now! After recently announcing that 2016 will be their final year as band, Sweden’s Kent released the single ‘Egoist’ which has shot straight to the number four position on the Trenda: Nordic Chart for Sweden, cutting through the immensely popular schlager tracks currently ruling the chart. Kent announced their up-coming break-up last week, but at the same time promised to close their career with a final album titled Då Som Nu För Alltid. ‘Egoist’ sounds like classic Kent, while singer Jocke Berg, just like on the previous album, continues to comment on society rather than indulging in emotional anxiety. Fans of ‘Sweden’s biggest rock band’ have the chance to catch the band live on their extensive tour through the Nordic countries this Autumn, kicking off in Linköping, Sweden, in September. Other exciting news on the Trenda: Nordic Charts is that Swedish/Norwegian duo Tungevaag & Raaban‘s new single ‘Wolf’ enters the Trenda: Nordic Charts in both Norway and Finland, in position eight and five respectively. In addition to a growing fan base in their home countries, Tungevaag & Raaban have proven to have found an audience in Finland as well: the single ‘Russian Roulette’ sold gold earlier this year and their success seems on track to escalate with ‘Wolf’!
