The latest Nordic Playlist curator Miriam Bryant joined us in the cosy Nordic Playlist caravan at the ‘Where’s the Music?’ Festival in Norköpping!

Miriam Bryant has recently gone from being one of Sweden’s most promising up and coming artists to being part of the upper-most top tier of Swedish pop royalty! Her rise is partly due to her participation in the latest seasons of Så mycket bättre, a popular Swedish TV show where musicians interpret and re-imagine each other’s songs. After the season’s first episode, Miriam’s ‘One Last Time’ became the number one selling track on iTunes in Sweden.

On the 1st January 2016, Miriam released an EP featuring a series of the cover versions that she performed in the show, and this powerful collection of covers has already gathered more than 70 million streams on Spotify alone. Miriam and her band are now preparing to head out on the road to bring not just covers from the show to audiences around Sweden, but also Miriam’s original tracks such as ‘Dragon’, ‘Push Play’ and ‘Finders Keepers’.

Besides inviting Miriam to create an exclusive Nordic Playlist with her favourite tracks for us, we also sat down with her in the cosy Nordic Playlist caravan at ‘Where’s the Music?’, the festival she was headlining, to find out more about her top Nordic artists as well as her love of Håkon Hellström…
