Sabina Ddumba [SWE]

Having just won the ‘Best Newcomer Award’ at January’s prestigious P3 Guld Awards ceremony, Sweden’s Sabina Ddumba released a brand new single entitled ‘Not Too Young’, before revealing ‘Not Too Young Pt. 2’ just last week.

The song follows on from Sabina’s sublime earlier releases ‘Scarred For Life’ and ‘Effortless’, which well and truly pinned this mesmerising vocalist as one to keep a very close eye on in the future.

She’s played alongside Jenny Wilson and worked with Adam Tensta (who gets a special mention below!), and will be performing at the festival on Friday 12th February.

Pale Honey

Pale Honey [SWE]

Pale Honey are Gothenburg based duo Tuva Lodmark and Nelly Daltrey who landed on the scene with their stripped back debut EP Fiction in 2014.

Quickly gathering global attention for their off-kilter melodies and up-front lyrics, the pair returned in 2015 to unleash their debut self-titled album, and have kicked off the new year by releasing the single ‘Tease’. Their latest track offers up a perfect example of how this duo enjoy to play with dynamics – one minute soft and sweet, the next, flooded with distortion and snarling vocals.

Pale Honey will be bringing their explosive live show to Where’s The Music? on Friday 12th February – and you can check out their latest track ‘Tease’ in’Where’s The Music? – Nordic Playlist’s Top Tips‘,

Adam Tensta

Adam Tensta [SWE]

Having found enormous success with the hit single ‘My Cool’ from his debut album It’s A Tensta Thing back in 2007, Sweden’s Adam Tensta has been a resonant name in Swedish rap for almost 10 years.

Returning to unveil his album The Empty in 2015, Tensta proved his artistic prowess by offering up an extraordinarily powerful record which reflects on post-break-up life and Tensta’s own place in the world, all transmitted through a searing series of beats and lines.

Adam released his first Swedish language single ‘Svart Bäbis’ in January, a song written around the feelings surrounding impending fatherhood – and he’ll be appearing on the opening night of the festival to get the event off to the strongest start possible.

Little Jinder [SWE]

It’s no small deal, to win the award for the ‘Best Pop Artist’ at the P3 Guld Awards. And that’s exactly what Little Jinder – or Josefine Jinder – achieved just a few weeks ago, following on from a year full of hit tracks and electric live performances.

2015 saw a succession of singles arrive from the Stockholm based artist, including ‘Sommarnatt’ and ‘Hångellåten (ft. Mauro Scocco)’, which propelled Little Jinder back into the spotlight and paving the way for the 2016 release of her much anticipated third album Allting suger.

Make sure to catch Little Jinder’s striking live show at Where’s The Music?, and tune in to her latest single ‘Super 8’ as part of our special ‘Where’s The Music? – Nordic Playlist’s Top Tips‘ playlist!

S!vas [DEN]

For more than 14 years, rapper S!vas has been one of the pioneers of the Danish rap world, working on a series of releases throughout his career that have placed him very much at the front of this thriving scene.

His tracks have racked up millions upon millions of listens in his native Denmark, with neighbouring countries also playing close attention, especially to his 2015 hit single ‘Jaja’ which announced his return to the forefront in no uncertain terms.

S!vas has just dropped a brand new track called ‘Problema‘, which you can hear by heading to his Soundcloud page, and which you’ll be able to hear in person when S!vas performs at Where’s The Music? Festival on Saturday.
