The Ja Ja Ja club nights might have come to an end for 2015 (fear not, we’ll be back in 2016!) but London is still overflowing with great events to get you out and about, discovering all of the Nordic corners of the city!
One event which we highly recommend heading out to is the Nordic Film Festival, which will run from the 4th – 13th December at various locations around London including Regent Street Cinema, ICA and Birkbeck Cinema.
Returning for its fourth year, the Nordic Film Festival will once again play host to a fantastic, diverse mix of films from the North, including Icelandic director Benedikt Erlingsson’s film The Show of Shows scored by members of Sigur Rós, and SUMÉ: The Sound of a Revolution, a fascinating documentary about the Greenlandic music scene and one of its most influential local language artists, Sumé.
Thanks to our friends at the Nordic Film Festival, we’ve got a pair of tickets to give away to attend the screening of The Show of Shows on Friday 4th December at Regent Street Cinema, so would you like to know how to enter the competition?!
In order to win a pair of tickets, all you need to do is share this post with the hashtag #NordicFilmFestComp on Facebook or Twitter, and send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org – we’ll then select and contact one winner on the 3rd December informing them of their prize!
This competition is only open to ages 18+ and travel/accommodation is not included in the prize.
As well as a great selection of films spanning a range of genres, the Nordic Film Festival will also offer up introductions, cheese tasting, a #ScandiShop
