This week’s Nordic Gig Guide kicks off with no less than three brilliant shows by Slaughter Beach, Apothek & Frøkedal at Shoreditch’s Old Blue Last! It’s the lovely people of 0E0E who are inviting us to this very special show to see some great live music and to dance like there’s no tomorrow to festive DJ duo Candi DiCaprio afterwards!

Fresh from sharing a stage with Taylor Swift (!) she’s ready to conquer London’s O2 Shepherds Bush Empire this Thursday! We’re of course talking about Sweden’s Tove Lo who keeps on impressing us with her catchy tunes and energetic live shows – we’re ready to blown away this Thursday!

Hailing from Denmark we have Søren Juul who we can’t wait to see and hear in beautiful Islington Assembly Hall Thursday evening! With his guitar and folk pop we’re ready to be join him for a dream of a gig – you should come with us!

It’s sure been a busy autumn for Icelandic artist Júníus Meyvant with loads of popular shows and words of praise from reviewers! He’s played his way into our hearts with his beautiful folk inspired songs, colourful arrangements, flowing voice and topping it off with a nice groove! We hope you’re one of the lucky ones with a ticket for the sold out show, but we’re sure he’ll be back soon if we ask nicely…
Saturday 14th – Kiasmos, Warehouse Project, Manchester – Tickets – Sold out!
Kiasmos – the ultimate combination of Ólafur Arnalds and Janus Rasmussen and we’re not sure if it’s necessary to say more. The gig is sold out and for a good reason, this duo has impressed us beyond words with their experimental mixture of Ólafur Arnalds’ beautiful piano influences and Janus Rasmussen’s electronica, blended together with minimal techno and you’ve got a recipe for a party!
