Sweden’s Sommarhjärta label is quickly becoming synonymous with the most chilled synth-pop jams you could wish for or imagine. Home to (and co-operated by) David Alexander AKA Summer Heart amongst others, Death In The Afternoon take up the dream-pop baton from him and run as fast as they can with it.
“82′ sees the band taking a number of musical cues from the decade referenced in the title, with certain kinds of guitar, bass and plenty of synths all in evidence. Soft, dreamy vocals bring all the parts together, resulting in a sweetly nostalgic pop song for warm, lazy days.
