Norwegian artist Jonas Alaska recently performed his original ‘If Only As A Ghost’ live at the Nordic Playlist Radio Bar in Oslo – a heart-on-his-sleeve account of the loss of a family member.

This tender version of his 2013 track delivers a highly emotive and heartbreaking lament over the death of an older brother, with a narrative that is remarkably honest and human. Lines such as “I can’t stand people telling me you’re watching from above“ and “I might not be alone in grief, but I need you most“ ring through as extraordinarily relatable to those who have lost someone dear to their hearts in this special rendition of the track.
