It’s set to be a busy week for Nordic music lovers in the capital as bands awaken from their winter holidays in the North and head back out on the road!

First Aid Kit are kicking off the year with a UK tour, and will be performing in London on Tuesday! They’ve just rounded off a phenomenal year, releasing their highly acclaimed album Stay Gold and touring the world! Grab yourself a pair of tickets for a night with some fine tunes before they head back home to start their Scandinavian tour.

Sweden’s very own Neneh Cherry released a new, long awaited album back in February 2014 and has since then toured her powerful show, filled with edgy mixes of drums and synths and her unmistakable voice.
She’s bringing Norway’s Carmen Villain along for parts of this tour, so check out their tour dates to find out when to catch both Neneh Cherry and Carmen Villain in Manchester, Glasgow and London! Be prepared for an energetic night filled with tunes that will definitely make you move…

Norwegian four-piece Katzenjammer visit the capital this Wednesday, bringing along sounds from their new album Rockland which promises to turn The Lexington into exactly that – a rockland! Lucky you if you got yourself a ticket or two, because this exclusive show is sold out!

London based Norwegian duo Soft as Snow will make this Wednesday night a little more danceable with their experimental electronic synth-pop! The band signed to the London label Houndstooth in 2014 and shortly after released their debut EP Glass Body. Why don’t you give it a listen to get a taste of what to expect!

Emilie Nicolas has had a fantastic year, to say the least, with her debut album coming out and winning two awards at the Norwegian Grammys, Spellemann, earlier this month – newcomer and pop soloist of the year! We’re very excited for the London show on her mini Europe tour this Wednesday at St Pancras Old Church!
Weds 28th January – Siv Jakobsen, Troubadour, London – Tickets
Norwegian singer songwriter Siv Jakobsen is often is compared to other Nordic favourites such as Ane Brun and Susanne Sundfør. This week she’s bringing her bold and honest lyrics and folk inspired music to London for a show at Troubadour. Swing by to experience one of her breathtaking live performances.
