December is finally here and Norway’s Kid Astray and Kråkesølv will help you to dance in the month!
Mon 1st December – Kråkesølv, Cambridge Corn Exchange, Cambridge – Tickets
2/4 of the Norwegian band Kråkesølv are supporting acts to Rodrigo y Gabriela on their UK tour and they are kicking off the week in Cambridge this Monday. The band creates pop tunes in their native language and released a new self – titled album earlier this year. Check out their tour dates to find out when to catch them in Manchester, Bristol, Birmingham and Glasgow later this week!
Tues 2nd December – Iceage, 100 Club, London – Tickets
The post rock fellows of Iceage from Copenhagen are not afraid to be experimental with their sound! Having just dropped their third album Plowing Into the Field of Love – featuring the singles ‘How Many’ and ‘Forever’ – they are now set to end their European tour in London this Tuesday at the 100 Club! If you haven’t already, give them a listen and if you like it, why not head down to the show?
Tues 2nd December – Sekuoia, The Waiting Room, London – Tickets
Danish producer Sekuoia will pay Londoners another visit (after an incredible performance at the Ja Ja Ja club night in back in May) this week, this time to headline the Waiting Room in London on Tuesday! We highly recommend this emerging producer with his soulful mixes – a show you don’t want to miss!
Thurs 4th December – Carnival Kids, The Barfly, London – Tickets
Following on from spending a couple of weeks supporting Taking Back Sunday, Carnival Kids from Norway are now supporting Sleepwave on their Europe tour. This Thursday they take over the Barfly in Camden, London. A night for the rock kids in town!
Fri 5th December – Kid Astray, Oslo Hackney, London – Tickets
Kid Astray will take over the stage at the venue that makes almost every Norwegians feel a little more at home just from its name – Oslo! The six-piece indie band have become masters of creating 80x influenced synth pop and are about to release a follow up EP to their previous release, Easily Led Astray. We’ve already got a taste of the new EP – set to be released December 15th – via the single ‘Back To The Ordinary’. So if you want to dance in the weekend with Kid Astray, come down to Oslo Hackney this Friday!
