Disaster In The Universe

Despite the somehow grim band name, Disaster In The Universes music feels refreshing, like diving into a cold swimming pool in a hot summer day. Splash! Incidentally, the Norwegian band has a natural liking for water – they even claim to have performed an under the sea concert in a small Norwegian town…

Earlier this year, Disaster in The Universe released their debut album Coconut Message and now the band drops a brand new single, combining electronic beats with a few drops of psychedelic vibes to create sizzling tropical atmospheres that keeps the music warm like a summer day. The song comes with a video in which little kids learn to swim – an innocent, wholesome act which is starkly contrasted with a number of disturbing political images, adding a darker, deeper tone to this seemingly light and airy track.
