It’s finally time for London to be magically taken over by Iceland’s magnificent Ólöf Arnalds! The same day as the London show Ólöf releases her brand new album Palme – how exciting is that!? Her UK tour has just kicked off and she’s got some more dates in the UK, check out her tour dates to find out when to catch her in Bristol, Manchester, Liverpool, York and Glasgow! Make sure to listen to her recent single ‘Patience’ right here at Ja Ja Ja, and get your week off to the best start possible at Oslo in Hackney, enjoying the wonderful world of Ólöf Arnalds!

The annual cultural Match & Fuse festival is here again! Three nights and three different London venues, the festival features an exciting variety of new music across a multitude of genres and styles.

Bands from both Norway and Sweden can be seen at the festival – on Thursday 2nd October, Norway’s Synkoke and Pixel will be playing at The Vortex. Sweden’s Doffs Poi can be found at Rich Mix on the 3rd October, and both The Vortex and Café OTO will host the final night of the festival where Norway’s Monkey Plot + Frode Gjerstad, Wolfram trio and Lana trio will be on hand to represent the sounds of the north.

With a brand new album freshly released in the form of Commune, Sweden’s psychedelic GOAT are back in London for a show at the Roundhouse. Their latest single ‘Hide from the Sun’ gave us a first taste of what to expect from the new album and the show, and after a summer of touring, London will be the final stop to witness Commune in its full, dazzling live form. Earlier in the week, the band will stop off in Newcastle (29th Sept), Brighton (1st Oct) and Bristol (2nd Oct).
