We are extremely jealous of anyone who managed to catch First Aid Kit‘s performance at Green Man Festival this year, but this faultless live performance of ‘Master Pretender’ is keeping our folk cravings satisfied for the time being.
This beautifully nonchalant performance, which looks as though it could have been filmed in their Nan’s living room or perhaps an East End boozer, showcases their distinctive Stockholm-meets-San Antonio voices. With just a guitar to guide them, this wonderfully life-affirming track is given room to breathe and an added weight to their “pick yourself up and dust yourself down” lyrics.
