Norwegian-Finnish singer songwriter Peter Jussila reveals his mesmerizing new track taken from the Night EP.

You’d be forgiven for not knowing much about the Muræb native, as there is very little trace of him online except for a sparse Facebook bio to accompany his music and one or two pictures. So you would undoubtedly be surprised to learn of his past life as one half of hip hop duo Moonshine. His history, however, is soon rendered  irrelevant after one listen to his mournful and beautiful ballads.

Jussila proves his incredible versatility by rejecting fancy lyrical tricks and production, instead favouring the strength and simplicity of clean piano chords and a raspy, jazz-infused vocal. In ‘Yutang’ he sings of love lost and the modest refrain, “I won’t be there” resounds with incredible intensity.
