Reykjavík’s resident shoegaze connoisseurs Oyama have lobbed a new noise-grenade onto the ‘net!

Recorded at last year’s Iceland Airwaves Festival for KEXP, the quintet’s new clip sees them fill five and a half minutes of screen time with swathes of warmth and early-’90s toe-glancing fuzzisms. The track, ‘Sweet Ride’, is swollen in languor, floating freely through the air, kept buoyant by the gorgeous vocal harmonies and dream-pop hooks – it’s sure to be a vital element to their debut LP, which the band are currently recording at Sundlaugin Studio in their homeland.
