Wed 2nd Apr: New Shapes presents Tove Lo & Kill J – The Notting Hill Arts Club, London
New Shapes is a new monthly club night aiming to bring the best and most exciting new artists around before anyone else. For this week’s instalment, Sweden’s Tove Lo and Denmark’s Kill J were invited to join the fun at The Notting Hill Arts Club on April 2nd. Tickets are available on the door on a first-come-first-served basis.
Thu 3rd Apr: Erlend Øye – Islington Assembly Hall, London – Sold Out
Bergen’s Erlend Øye, who usually makes up the one half of folk duo Kings of Convenience, provided us with the vintage style Italian disco tune ‘La Prima Estate’ which became the soundtrack of our last summer. The acoustic guitar maestro is now back playing a sold out concert at the Islington Assembly Hall on April 3rd.
Fri 4th Apr: Reptile Youth – The Shacklewell Arms, London
Danish duo Reptile Youth just released a new track in the form of ‘JJ’, which they followed with the album Rivers That Run For A Sea That Is Gone, released earlier in March. To give us a musical taste of their latest release, the two piece will play a free gig at The Shacklewell Arms on April 4th with the support of N-A-I-V-E-S and White Fever.
Fri 4th Apr: Nabiha – Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, London – Tickets
Singer/songwriter Nabiha from Denmark impressed us with her powerful live performance at our very own Ja Ja Ja club night last year in November. In case you missed her that night, we highly recommend you to check her out at the Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen to see what this talented young lady is all about!
Fri 4th Apr: Cashmere Cat – The Laundry, London – Tickets
To celebrate the release of his latest EP Wedding Bells, Norway’s Cashmere Cat is playing sold out gigs in the US and Europe. But do not worry, it’s not too late just yet! There are still a few tickets available for the artist’s London show, set to take place at The Laundry on April 4th, so make sure to grab some and we promise that you won’t regret it!
