Hailing from Copenhagen, Rosenthal is the brainchild of musician Jeppe Kiel Revsbech, creating songs and soundscapes within the circles of dream pop and alternative rock. The Danish musician is playing an exclusive gig at the vintage boutique & cafe Paper Dress on April 17th, before joining Mathew Horne’s Session event series at Queen of Hoxton, April 19th.
Thurs 17th Apr: Von Hertzen Brothers with The Wildhearts – Electric Ballroom, London – Sold Out
A big hit in their native Finland, Von Hertzen Brothers released their fifth long player Nine Lives early 2013. The Finnish five piece is now heading to the UK, supporting British rock sensation The Wildhearts during their tour in Nottingham, Newcastle, Glasgow and Cambridge, finishing with a gig at London’s Electric Ballroom on April 17th!
Fri 18th Apr: Echoic – The Water Rats, London – Tickets
Echoic is ‘colour blind’ music by Finnish musician Otto Nuoranne, who produces rich and layered art rock watermarked by a merging of acoustic and electronic elements. The musician was joined by Markus Vuoristo for debut record Springbook and the duo have been performing live concerts since February 2014. There are still some tickets left for their gig at The Water Rats so grab some quickly!
Sat 19th Apr: Agnes Obel – Barbican, London – Sold Out
The enigmatic Danish chanteuse and pianist Agnes Obel returns to London for one of only three UK shows this spring in support of her critically acclaimed album Aventine. Supported by Brussels’ Melanie de Biasio, the gig at Barbican on April 19th is unfortunetly sold out. But don’t be disappointed as the Danish musician is coming back on July 12th for an evening at Somerset House and tickets are still available!
