Swedish artist Sabina Ddumba takes a step away from the shade of being a guest vocalist, through the release of her debut single ‘Scarred For Life’.
She spent many years as a back up singer for artists such as Jenny Wilson, and you might also have heard her soulful vocals on Adam Kanyama’s ‘The Golden Child’ and Katy Perry’s ‘Walking on air’. She is now finally ready to release her own material and the result is a powerful break-up ballad.
The music video, directed by Nikeisha Anderson, gives an intimate portrait of Sabina and a recent relationship that ended badly. With the words “cuts are getting deeper, you really fucked me up this time”, she keeps her head high and fights to hold back the tears.
