An indian summer is a heat wave that occurs in the autumn, and for those of us who stayed in London last September and October all know that an indian summer makes those months so more enjoyable.  It is an extension of the summer, and all of the joy that brings.

Although there are a lot of songs that capture the summer-feeling perfectly, there are not all that many songs that are perfect for those late summer and stolen indian summer days. Highasakite’s ‘Indian Summer’ on the other hand, captures the summer, the late summer and the indian summer beautifully. It is catchy, dreamy and sweet indie-pop, just that type of music that gives you a calming feeling of sun on your skin.

The Norwegian trio is releasing their four-track UK debut EP Indian Summer on August 20 via Riot Factory.
