Forever Grinning EP by Copenhagen based experimental rock band Thulebasen is really a single, which was commissioned by Denmark’s National Art Museum to create a song for one of the paintings from their collection of 19th century Danish paintings. ‘Forever Grinning’ is the song Thulebasen wrote for a Jørgen Sonne painting from 1847 called Midsummer’s Eve.

The single will be released as a limited edition 12″ featuring remixes by Eric Copeland, Gala Drop, Lamburg, Hhappiness and Lucky Dragons on March 26 through Norwegian record label Splendour and Danish label Tambourhinoceros, and can be pre-ordered here. But first, stream it in its entirity below.
