Swedish troubadour José González is set to play a sold out show in London on Tuesday 24th January, as part of the Southbank Centre’s Nordic Matters festival…

World renowned singer-songwriter José González is currently on tour with maverick orchestra The String Theory, who are undertaking their first collective tour since 2011, when they sold out venues all over the continent and received rave reviews.

José González released his third solo album Vestiges & Claws in February 2015, following 2007’s In Our Nature and his acclaimed debut album Veneer which landed in 2003, which has sold over a million copies to date. And when he wasn’t busy writing and releasing solo records, José could be found touring with his other project, Junip.

José is now preparing to head to London with The String Theory, to perform to a sold out audience at the Royal Festival Hall as part of the Southbank Centre’s Nordic Matters event – a year long initiative from the cultural centre, which will see Nordic influence across its programming in 2017. No tickets remain for the show – but fear not: if you don’t have a ticket, you can still experience the entire show as it happens by tuning in to a live stream right here at the Nordic Playlist!

Tune in at 7.30pm (UK time) on Tuesday 24th January…
