Stockholm duo Flora Cash (Shpresa Lleshaj and Cole Randall) met through Soundcloud, which just goes to show that the site not only functions as a useful music listening platform, but also as a kind of musician-exclusive Tinder.

They’ve been around since 2013, dabbling in folk, but they’ve recently singed up to Icons Creating Evil Art and embarked in a more electronic direction. New single ‘Nothing Lasts Forever (And It’s Fine)’ is the latest evidence of that.

‘Nothing Lasts Forever (And It’s Fine)’ is a loose, slick piece of electronic pop, Lleshaj and Randall’s voices chiming in time over a jerking, skewed rhythm. A little sprinkle of acoustic guitar blends into the electronic tunes, all in all creating a charming and memorable pop song.

‘Nothing Lasts Forever (And It’s Fine)’ is out now backed with ‘The Bad Boys’, and a new album is due in April.¬†Flora Cash also play the Ja Ja Ja Berlin show at Fluxbau on March 9th. Details here!
